Configuration mode
The Self Service Portal has a configuration (config) mode, similar to the desktop
application. Using config mode, system administrators can configure the functionality that is
shown or hidden on the portal pages based on a user's security group. System administrators
can also localize the information that is shown on these pages.
To access configuration mode, click or tap the
button at the bottom of the application menu. Configuration mode is controlled by the permissions of the CONFIG MODE TOC maintenance form. By default, access is only granted to the SYSTEM ADMINS security group, but this can be modified.Note: Hybrid pages do not support config mode. In general, they
share the same configuration as the equivalent pages in mobility and must be configured in the
Admin Portal (desktop application).
