Security permissions
The Self Service Portal uses both form and element security to determine the level of access a security group is granted to a specific page, element, or action. Form and element security work together to determine what is presented to the user.
To access a page in the application, users require VIEW permission to the corresponding form. If form security is not set, or is set to NONE, then the user cannot access the page.
Form security permissions are set up in the Admin Portal.

To access an element on a page, users require VIEW or ACT permission depending on the element type. Users require EDIT permission to edit an input field or submit a form. For portal pages, element security permissions are set up in the Self Service Portal application. For hybrid pages, element security permissions are set up in the Admin Portal.
