Setting up preferential bidding preferences

To set up preferential bidding preferences:

  1. Select Maintenance > Optional Modules > Schedule Bidding > Schedule Bid Admin.
  2. Select the check box beside the schedule bid for which you want to set up preferences.
  3. From the Select drop-down list, select Edit Preferential Bidding Preferences.
  4. Click Execute.
  5. Select the Selected check box corresponding to the field you want to include as a preference field.

    UDF fields can also be set up for preferences. For example, you can set up a UDF field to be the location of a shift pattern.

  6. Specify the display name of the field for the Employee Preferential Bidding Types page in the Display Name field.
  7. Specify the number of ranks an employee can assign to this field in the Maximum # of Rankings field.
  8. Click Save.
