Selection parameters for Payroll Based Journal Export for CMS report

This table describes the selection parameters for the Payroll Based Journal Export for CMS report.

Parameter Description
File Specification Version The file specification version that the data in the report conforms to. This parameter displays the version that is certified for this release of WFM.
Facility Specify a facility.

You must create a facility mapping before running the Payroll Based Journal Export for CMS.

Fiscal Quarter Specify a fiscal quarter for the generated report.
Fiscal Year Specify the fiscal year for the generated report.
Software Vendor Name Displays the software vendor name for the generated report.
Software Vendor Email Displays the software vendor email for the generated report.
Software Product Name Displays the software product name for the generated report.
Process Type Select Merge or Replace.

If the process type is Replace, then all data for the specified section, census, or staffing for the specified quarter is removed from the active database and replaced with the data submitted in the file.

If the process type is Merge, then process follows these rules:

  1. Staffing hour data is matched on the employee ID and date. If data exists for a specific date and employee ID combination, then it is overwritten; otherwise the data is added.
  2. Census data is matched on the month end date. If data exists for a specific month end date, then it is overwritten; otherwise the data is added.
Start Date Specify the fiscal quarter start date for the organization that is used in the report.
End Date Specify the fiscal quarter end date for the organization that is used in the report.
Report Format Specify Excel. This parameter is only displayed when you run the report immediately, not when you schedule the report.
