WFMBurst package

Abstracted model of database schema that is designed to support bursting. Bursting is a Cognos Business Intelligence (BI) supported method of pre-generating reports to minimize system load and view generating time.

This table describes the main categories in the WFMBurst package.

Category	Description
Burst Actual Results	Contains the historical data (for example, POS data) that is imported into the system and used by the forecast generation process.
Burst Census	Contains census information.
Burst Employee Information	Contains employee information, including default labor settings and UDF data definitions.
Burst Forecasting	Provides access to the output of the forecast generation process.
Burst Historical Payroll Cost	Contains the historical payroll cost data that is imported into the system.
Burst Labor Budgeting	Contains labor nudgeting creation and management information.
Burst Schedule Analysis	Contains information about generated schedules, including score and cost values.
Burst Scheduling	Contains schedule shift detail information.
Burst Staffing	Contains staffing interval requirements for stores and departments that are associated with schedules.
Burst Work	Contains all time tracking information.
Burst Work Schedule Aggregation	The User Aggregated Work query subject returns data in a staging table that is tailored to contain work and scheduling information. The staging table must be pre-populated using a pre-processing task.
Report Helper Objects	This folder contains objects that are not specific to any single namespace and are useful for report authoring by allowing access to additional database objects.
