ADJUST_SPS_LABOR_TIMES

Description:

This parameter specifies when the shift pattern shift labor (SPSL) is applied to the shifts. Shift patterns that have SPSL and span midnight on the MVS schedule, can have SPSL applied. When this parameter is set to:

  • true, then SPSL is applied to the shifts.
  • false, SPSL is not applied.

For example, the Shift Pattern shift is 23:00 to 7:30, with the following SPSL details:

  • 23:00 - 7:00 with UAT as TIME CODE and 0 as ACTIVITY
  • 7:00 - 7:30 with TRANSITION as TIME CODE and TRANSITION as ACTIVITY

When this parameter is set to true, this shift displays these details in the MVS schedule (matching the SPSL):

  • 23:00 - 7:00 with UAT as TIME CODE and 0 as ACTIVITY
  • 7:00 - 7:30 with TRANSITION as TIME CODE and TRANSITION as ACTIVITY

When this parameter is set to false, this shift displays these details in the MVS schedule (not matching the SPSL):

  • 23:00 - 7:00 with UAT as TIME CODE and 0 as ACTIVITY
  • 7:00 - 7:30 with UAT as TIME CODE and blank ACTIVITY

We recommend that you set this parameter to true.

When this parameter is set to false, coverage can look incorrect. Shifts can span day parts and be displayed under multiple day parts incorrectly.
