Logging employee OT offer responses

  1. Select Maintenance > Optional Modules > Overtime Equalization > OT Equalization Offer.
  2. Click Make Offer beside the OT request.
  3. In the OTE Offer Responses section, specify this information for the appropriate employee:
    Response
Select one of these options to reflect the employee's response to the overtime offer:
    • Accept: The employee accepts the overtime offer.
    • Refused: The employee refuses the overtime offer.
    • Not Available: The employee is unavailable to respond to the overtime offer.
Note: You must enter the employee responses in the order in which they are displayed in the OTE Offer Responses section. For example, if employee 2083 is listed before employee 2015, you must enter a response for employee 2083 before entering a response for employee 2015.

You cannot log an acceptance of an overtime offer if the OT offer has already been filled by the previous employees in the list.

    Hours Accepted
Specify the number of hours pertaining to the employee's response. For example, if the employee accepted 4 hours of an 8-hour overtime offer, specify 4 in this field.
Note: You cannot specify a value that exceeds the offered number of overtime hours.
  4. Click Save.
The system updates the employee's OT balance, based on whether you selected Accept, Refused, or Not Available from the Response drop-down list.
