Creating a Master Rotation with number of rows per job

You can create a Master Rotation (MR) with a specified number of schedule rotation rows per job. Each row defines a shift rotation that can be assigned to an employee. For example, an MR can be created that starts with four RN rows and two Technician rows.

You can also control the order of the job rows in the new MR. For example, you can create an MR that has two RN rows at the top, two Technician rows in the middle, and two more RN rows at the bottom.

  1. Select Scheduling > Multi-view Scheduler > Master Rotation > Manage Master Rotation.
  2. Click Create New Entry.

    Template Length
Specify the number of days for the rotation. For example, specify 7 to repeat the shift patterns every seven days.

    1. Select a job in the Add Jobs field and then click Add.
A row is added to the table for the specified job.
    2. Specify the number of rows that you would like to add for this job in the Role Count field.
  8. Optionally, click and drag rows to change the order of the job rows in the Schedule table of the new MR.
  9. Optionally, click the garbage can icon to delete a job row.
Note: Alternatively, you can specify 0 in the Role Count field to not add any rows for the job to the MR.
  10. Click Create.

The new Master Rotation is displayed in the MR edit screen where you can design the base rotation for the schedule.
