Overlapping Shifts
If a Copy operation creates overlapping shifts, the result depends on how the overlap occurs.
The following table provides some overlapping shift examples, assuming
that all of the source shift's details were selected, and the result of
performing a copy operation:

| Copied shift overlaps any portion of a single shift. | The overlapped target shift is completely replaced with the shift being copied. |
| Copied shift overlaps two or more shifts. | An error message is generated and the copy operation is aborted. |
| Copied shift does not overlap any shifts. | The copy is performed without incident. |
