The coverage for interval and day part is calculated the same way. The following staffing requirements are used throughout the examples below:

Staffing Requirements:

Day Part A 07-15: Job A – 2 people required

Day Part B 15-19: Job A – 3 people required

Day Part C 19-23: Job A – 3 people required

Day Part D 23-07: Job A – 1 person required
