Time-based work periods

Workload is often specified based on number of shifts required for each job in each team. However, some environments may require time-based work periods instead of using shifts.

Time-based work periods allow you to specify the mandatory and optional skills needed for each of a schedule’s time periods. The system uses these skill requirements in determining the type of shifts required to cover work periods, by attaching the correct skills to the new shifts.

MVS allows you to:

  • Define staffing requirements templates with effective dates using team qualifications.

  • Edit staffing requirements
