Using the Check Boxes

When working with properties, two check boxes with associated links are displayed for each property item:

Del check box: When selected, it specifies the property to delete from the selected stores or departments upon save.
w/ prop check box: When selected, it specifies stores or departments with the property that will retain any modifications upon save.
w/ prop link: Specifies the number of selected stores or departments that have the indicated property value. Clicking the link allows you to view these locations.
w/o prop check box: When selected, specifies stores or departments without the property that will have the modified property upon save. This option adds the property to the location that is currently without it.
w/o prop link: Specifies the number of selected stores or departments that do not have the indicated property value. Clicking the link allows you to view these locations.

The sum of the w/ prop and w/out prop links is equal to the total number of store or department entities selected in the Results section.

Multiple stores or departments

When you have multiple stores or departments selected, you can make modifications:

When you select the w/ prop check box for a property, clear the w/o prop check box for a property, and save the change. The locations that have the property are updated with the new property value.
When you clear the w/ prop check box for a property, select the w/o prop check box for a property, and save the change, the locations that did not have that property are modified to have the new property and property’s value.

You can use the w/ prop and w/out prop check boxes simultaneously.
