Store geolocation coordinates

The geolocation of stores must be populated so the machine learning engine can request the relevant weather data from the weather API. This must be done before the Batch Forecast Training task runs to ensure that historical weather data is incorporated in the forecasting models created during training.

Geolocation is defined in Workforce Management using latitude and longitude coordinates. If weather data analysis is enabled, coordinates must be defined for each store that is using machine learning forecasting. Store coordinates are populated in the Team Coordinates page for the team that is associated with the store's location in LFSO.

It is important to note that teams inherit coordinates from the closest parent team if their team coordinates are not defined. The accuracy of forecast predictions would be negatively affected if a store is using coordinates inherited from a parent team that are different from its actual location. You can check which coordinates are being used for a team in the Final section of the Team Coordinates page.

See "Defining the geolocation of a team" in the Infor Workforce Management Daily Timesheet User Guide.
