Labor metric punches

You can use a change punch to process a labor metric change such as switching jobs or departments. If you work as a cashier and a customer service representative, then a job change at the clock records when you switch jobs. If the job switch also requires switching departments, then a department change at the clock records this switch.

Your supervisor can explain when and which type of punch to use depending on the requirements of your organization.

With the labor metric change punch, you can change one of these labor metrics depending on the configuration of the clock:

  • Department
  • Docket
  • Job
  • Project
  • Time Code
Note: The labor metric label can vary depending on your business requirements and the configuration of the clock. You can also scroll to the next page to find the labor metric icon for your clock punch.
