Configuring Kronos 4500 and InTouch (9000/9100) clocks

The integration between Workforce Management and the Kronos 4500 and InTouch (9000/9100) clocks uses the the IOMotion PDC Gateway interface. IOMotion is a provider of Kronos middleware software that allows Kronos clocks to operate with non-Kronos workforce management solutions such as Infor WFM.

Note: The InTouch 9100 is an Android version of the clock where it is likely that no all features will be supported. Functionality may be limited and this may require working with IOMotion to fully support the clock.

With this type of solution, Infor will charge a per clock connection fee to WFM.

The integration uses existing WFM clock web services and provides this functionality:

  • Employee badge identification.
  • Clock In/Out.
  • Start/End meal swipes.
  • Department transfers.
  • Docket transfers.
  • Project transfers.
  • View Schedules.
  • Review swipes.
  • Schedule validation.
  • Meal break validation.

The topics in this section outline how to configure the integration of your Kronos clock in the WFM application. Before completing the tasks in this section, you must ensure that you have web services enabled for clocks. For more information on how to do this, see Enabling web services for clocks.

Note: For information on configuring the IOMotion PDC Gateway interface application, contact your Infor WFM clocks support representative.
