Configuring time approval for clocks (WB6000, virtual clock, HTML clock)

You can configure clocks with WBCS to allow employees to approve the time that they have worked before the time is sent to the timesheet in the WFM application. This feature enables employees to attest to the time that they have worked to ensure accuracy in pay for the hours worked. This feature can be configured for either Daily or Weekly approvals.

When an employee rejects their time worked, a supervisor can be notified through an alert. The supervisor can then take corrective action. The Time Approvals status is also visible on the Daily Timesheet and the Time Approval State Report.

When an employee is presented with time approval records, they have these options:

  • Approve

The employee approves worked time. The approved time is then sent to the time sheet in the WFM application. If additional records exist then the employee is presented with the next record. Otherwise, a confirmation message is displayed.

  • Reject

The employee rejects the hours worked because the hours displayed do not reflect the hours worked. If additional records exist then the employee is presented with the next record. Otherwise, a confirmation message is displayed.

  • Skip

The employee defers the decision to attest to the hours shown. If additional records exist then the employee is presented with the next record. Otherwise the Time Approval Complete message is displayed. Skipped records are presented to the employee every time the time approval process is initiated. The skipped records are presented until the records are approved or rejected.

  • Skip All

The employee defers the decision to attest to the hours shown for all time approval records. This option is only available for the HTML clock.
