Workload

Workload is the number of work time hours in a specified time period and location.

In both budgeting modules, you can publish a plan to use a scheduling constraint in LFSO. This constraint limits the payroll dollars that a schedule can use. When the payroll dollars are limited, the number of work hours that can be scheduled are also limited.

In the Budget Creation module, workload data from LFSO is also a source of input for creating a bottom-up projection. The projection generates the total amount of work required. The projection uses the same workload generation algorithm that LFSO uses to create schedules. The algorithm sums these types of work:

  • volume driven
  • store-property driven
  • non-volume driven
