  9. Select either the Budget Pending Alert or Budget To Review Alert interface type, depending on the type of alert to schedule.
    • Pending Due Date Task
    • To Review Due Date task
  10. Click Next.
The Budgeting Alert Task Parameter page is displayed.
  11. Complete or modify the following fields:
    Layout
Select the budget/forecast for which to run the scheduled alert, using the lookup.
    Location Type
Select the location type to which to apply the alert, using the lookup.
    Attribute
Select the due-date to which to apply the alert, using the lookup. This date must match the location type specified above.
    Notification Days
Specify how many days before the defined due date to start sending alert messages. Only positive values, including zero (0) are allowed. If this field is set to zero (0), the system sends the alert message on the actual due date.

For example, suppose that: Layout is Budget 2005; Location Type is District; Attribute is DISTRICT DUE DATE; Notification Days is 0 (zero), and the due date is set to April 1, 2005 on the Forecasts and Budgets Detail page: On April 1st, 2005, the application sends a scheduled alert message to any district budget manager who has not submitted the budget/forecast for this budget.

  12. Click Submit.
  13. Click OK.
  14. Repeat all the previous steps for each set of relevant location type, attribute, and state for which to send due-date alerts.
To manually run this task at any time, click Run Now. Alternatively, you can instruct the application how frequently to automatically run this task. See the Infor WFM Time and Attendance Implementation and Administration Guide.
