Excluded leave time codes

When an employee has an approved leave, the original shift is included in Auto-Assignment rule calculations. Time codes for leaves can be excluded from Auto-Assignment rule calculations.

This can be used to ensure that employees that take certain leaves still receive a full working schedule. For example, vacation (VAC) hours are included in an employee's working hours, but unpaid leave (UPL) hours are excluded. If employees must be assigned a minimum of 40 hours a week, Auto-Assignment can satisfy the rule by assigning 32 hours to an employee that has booked off an 8-hour shift with the VAC time code. If the employee books off the same shift with the UPL time code, Auto-Assignment must assign 40 hours to satisfy the rule.
