Maintaining Attendance Management

Although Attendance Management automatically logs events and violations as they occur, authorized system administrators can create manual entries or overrides in the logs of events and violations. Changes that you make override the existing log information. Manual overrides in an employee event log can include editing existing information or adding new items to the log.

When you create a manual entry in a log, you must record your user name so that changes can be tracked in the system.

Manual overrides and the automatic processing of events

Manual entries that are made in the event log for the current process period are included in automatic processing.

Manual entries in the event log for the previous process periods (such as new historical events that are entered in the log) are not included in automatic processing. To manually run processing for events that are entered in past system dates (previous process periods), you can reprocess employee records.
