Reprocessing

Supervisors can manually reprocess records starting from a specified date. For example, if an employee’s information changes for a time period that has already been processed, the supervisor can reprocess the employee's Attendance Management records to update the system data.

There are two different forms that you can use to reprocess employee records. We recommend that you use the AM Bulk Reprocess Form, which is an improved version that is meant to replace the original AM Reprocess Form.

See Reprocessing employees in bulk.

The AM Reprocess Form is still available to support clients who may have customized it.

See Reprocessing employee records.

Reprocessing deletes all events or violations since the specified start date that match the parameters that you specify. The records are then reprocessed, day by day.

You can reprocess events and violations together, or you can reprocess only violations, but you cannot reprocess only events because this would de-synchronize the violations in the system.

Workforce Management performs these actions when a reprocess is run:

  1. Deletes events
  2. Reprocesses events
  3. Deletes violations
  4. Reprocesses violations

Supervisors can indicate whether they want to preserve manual entries when reprocessing an employee’s records. In that case, reprocessing only deletes system-generated records, and maintains manual overrides that have been made by a system administrator.
