This example covers the business need where employees are guaranteed a total of eight (8) hours at the various rates at which they recorded actual work time.

Because the employee works 80% of his worked time at $10 and 20% of his worked time at $20, the three hours of guaranteed time is paid out at 144 minutes (180 x 0.8) at $10 and 36 minutes (180 x 0.2) at $20.
