Configuring the clocking actions that are displayed

You can use the Clock Preset form to configure the order in which the clocking actions are displayed. You can also add more clocking actions or remove any of the existing actions. A maximum of six clocking actions can be displayed in the clock modal. If you add additional clocking actions, they are displayed at the top of the Clock Options modal.

Note: The TSDOCK, UNKNOWN, and DIRECTIONLESS clock presets are not supported in the Self Service Portal.

  1. In the desktop application, select Maintenance > Reader Setup > Clock Preset.
  2. Click Edit beside the clock preset that you want to change.
  3. Optionally, specify a new name for the clock action button in the Name field.
  4. Specify the relative position of the clocking action in the Widget Order field.
    By default, the ON preset action is displayed at the top in position 1, followed by the OFF preset action in position 2, and so on.

    You can add more clocking actions by specifying the relative position of the preset in the Widget Order field. For example, to add a seventh clocking action at the top of the Clock Options modal, specify 7 in this field.

    Only the clock presets that have a value in the Widget Order field are displayed in the Self Service Portal.

  5. Optionally, specify the color that is used to render the icon of the clock action in the Color field.
    Note: Changing the display color of a clock action in the Self Service Portal is only supported if you also change the default name in the Name field.

    For example, the default color for the ON action is green. If you specify yellow for the ON preset in the Color field, the Self Service Portal will still show the ON action as green unless you specify something other than ON in the Name field as well.

  6. Click Save.
  7. Click Return to form listing.
  8. Repeat the previous steps until you have specified the relative positioning of all the clock presets to display in the Self Service Portal.
  9. Clear the application cache to ensure that your changes take effect.
