Rule: Maximum Hours Per Schedule Period (LFSO)

This rule limits the number of hours that an employee can be scheduled to work in a LFSO schedule period.

Note:

Schedule compliance uses the schedule period as defined in LFSO.

Overview

The Maximum Hours Per Schedule rule determines whether an employee has exceeded the maximum number of hours that the employee is permitted to work each LFSO schedule period. This rule counts the sum of the scheduled hours of all shifts in the LFSO schedule period.

Schedule compliance counts the scheduled hours of all shifts within the LFSO schedule period, including any shift hours that cross into the following schedule period.

Violation Area

Violations count against the appropriate LFSO schedule period.

Example

For example, the maximum scheduled hours per 10 day LFSO schedule period may be 60 hours.
