Time and Attendance

Agency employment type

A new employment type named Agency has been added. Agency is an employment designation used in the healthcare industry to define employees who are employed through an agency. Organizations can use this designation to separate out their agency staff from their permanently contracted employees for HR and scheduling purposes.

Append comments using the Work Summary Import

Using the Work Summary Import, you can now append comments so that the existing work summary comments are not overwritten. With this feature, the value specified in the WRKS_COMMENTS field is appended to the existing comments when the relevant override is created.

See "Work Summary Import Interface" in the Infor Workforce Management Time and Attendance Implementation and Administration Guide.

Mobile WFM: Timesheet comments

The mobility timesheet can be configured so that users can add, edit, and remove comments on work details and work premium overrides. You can also configure the timesheet so that users can add comments when creating work premiums.

Note: Comments for work premiums cannot be edited.

See the Infor Workforce Management Mobility Administration Guide.

Use default labor data for clock pairs when there is no overlap

You can control the labor metrics that are applied for ON-OFF clock pairs when no overlapping work detail is found by the rule engine. By default, if no overlapping work detail is found, the labor metrics from the next closest work detail are used for each clock pair. To use the labor data from the employee default labor allocation (EDLA) instead of the next closest detail, set the CLOCKS_EDLA_FROM_NEXT_SCHEDULE registry parameter to false.

See the Infor Workforce Management Registry Parameter Reference Guide for more information.
