MAX_DIRECT_EMPLOYEES

This parameter is used to stop polling notification bar items (Timesheet Alerts, Time Punch Alerts, and My Employees) when the number of direct employees exceeds the specified limit. If the number of direct employees of the user exceeds the value set in this registry, the alert counts in the notification bar will no longer be updated automatically. The alert count is updated upon clicking the item.

This parameter is required for performance purposes.
