USE_ASSOCIATED_JOBS

Description:

This registry parameter determines if associated jobs are grouped together in Advanced Schedule View (ASV) and Central Staffing. When this registry parameter is set to true, data in these screens is combined into sections for the parent jobs.

This affects these areas of these screens:

  • The ASV Position view groups employees under the parent job section if they are qualified for the parent job or any of its associated jobs.
  • The job filters in ASV can be selected for the parent jobs to show or hide the shifts or employees for the parent job and its associated jobs.
  • Job cards in Central Staffing are combined for the parent job and its associated jobs. This applies both to the Schedule Zone and Float Pool Zone.
  • Coverage details in these screens are displayed only for parent jobs. Coverage data is combined for each parent job and its associated jobs.

When this registry parameter is set to false:

  • The ASV Position view groups employees separately for all jobs.
  • The job filters in ASV are displayed for all jobs and work on an individual job basis.
  • Job cards in Central Staffing are displayed on an individual job basis. This applies both to the Schedule Zone and Float Pool Zone
  • Coverage details in these screens are displayed separately for all jobs.
