ENABLE_EMPLOYEE_LEVEL_SECURITY

Description:

This parameter determines if users in the LFSO Schedule screen can edit shifts and view employee information cards without the required team permissions. When this registry parameter is set to true, a user can view shifts assigned to teams that they do not have team permissions for, but they cannot edit the shifts. Users cannot view the employee information card for employees that are not home team members on one of the teams for which the user has team permission.

When this registry parameter is set to false, a user can edit shifts for teams that they do not have team permissions for. Users can view the employee information card for employees that are not home team members for one of the teams for which the user has team permissions. It is important to note that a user must have the corresponding team permission to open a schedule for a team.

This registry parameter is useful for managing employees that are temporarily assigned to different teams. For example, the sales team supervisor opens the sales team schedule, and they see that an employee from the sales team is assigned to a shift on the cashier team. If this registry parameter is set to false, the sales team supervisor can edit the cashier team shift, even if they do not have team permission for the cashier team. If the registry parameter is set to true, the sales team supervisor can view, but cannot edit, the cashier team shift.
