ALLOW_CONSECUTIVE_ON_OFF_CLOCKS

Description

This parameter controls whether consecutive ON or OFF clocks are allowed in the mobility application.

By default, the Clock widget prohibits employees from clocking on if the system has determined that employee is already clocked on. In the vast majority of cases, this reduces the incidents of duplicate clocks requiring manual correction by a timekeeper or supervisor. However, you can allow employees to record multiple, consecutive ON clocks by enabling this parameter.

When this parameter is set to TRUE, consecutive ON or OFF clocks are allowed and processed by the system.

Note: Enabling this parameter may increase double-punching by your employees and may increase the amount of corrections that supervisors must make to employee timesheets.

When this parameter is set to FALSE, consecutive ON or OFF clocks are not allowed. If the user tries to clock ON while already clocked on, "You are already clocked On time" is displayed. If the user tries to clock OFF while already clocked off, "You are already clocked Off time" is displayed. In either case, the second, consecutive clock is not processed.
