Description

This parameter controls when notifications listed in Action Items on the notification bar are removed. The parameter is only applicable if the showWidgetBar registry parameter is set to TRUE.

When this registry is set to Assigned, notifications are removed from Action Items after the user completes the actual workflow. For example, if a time off request is submitted for approval, the notification is not removed from Action Items until the user approves or rejects the request.

Note: If the workflow does not require approval, the notification is removed from Action Items after the user clicks the notification to read it.

When this registry is set to Unread, notifications are removed from Action Items after the user clicks the notification to read it even if the action is still pending. With this setting, only messages with a NEW (unread) status are displayed in Action Items.

If this registry does not have a value, then the behavior is the same as the Unread setting.

This registry setting does not apply to custom workflows.

Default value

For new installations, this parameter is set to Assigned.

For upgrades of existing installations, this parameter is set to Unread.
