Terminated employees in ASV

Rows are displayed for terminated employees in ASV when the employee termination date occurs during or after the displayed schedule period. A row is also displayed when the terminated employee has schedule details, such as shifts or book offs during the displayed schedule period. The inactive employee icon is displayed for days in the employee schedule that are on or after the termination date. See Inactive employee icon.

Terminated employee schedules are locked starting on their termination date. This prevents the scheduler from assigning new shifts to the employee or editing details of existing shifts after termination. These functions can be used to manage existing shifts or book offs that are scheduled on or after the employee's termination date:

  • Cancel book off
  • Revert swap
  • Unassign
  • Delete

The unassign and delete actions cannot be performed for shifts assigned to terminated employees that are published from Master Rotations and One-time Schedules. You must edit the rotation that the shifts were published from to reassign or delete these shifts.
