Broadcasting a mobile offer from the Relief Queue

When unassigned shifts are sent to the Relief Queue, the shifts can be broadcast to groups of employees who may be interested in working the shifts. The broadcast can be by telephone, instant messaging, and email.

  1. Select the teams or employees that you want to view in the Relief Queue. See Viewing the outstanding vacancies.
  2. Select the shifts that you want to offer for assignment. Hover your cursor over a shift to view more details about the shift.
  3. Click Broadcast Shift.
  4. Go to Specifying employees for shift broadcasts.
Broadcast shifts are offered to the selected employees, who are notified using the contact methods specified in their employee profile. A telephone icon is displayed on broadcast shifts. The shift is locked for the duration of the offer as specified in the Offer Window field.
