Schedule cleanup status

The schedule cleanup status indicates the current status or result of a schedule cleanup process. You can check the status of any schedule cleanup process. You can change the status on an uncompleted schedule cleanup process to put the process on hold, or to reset a process that failed due to an exception.

Schedule cleanup processes can use these statuses:
  • READY: The schedule is ready to be cleaned up. The cleanup process will take place the next time the Schedule Cleanup task runs.
  • IN PROGRESS: The schedule is currently being cleaned up by the Schedule Cleanup task.
  • SUCCESS: The schedule has successfully been cleaned up by the Schedule Cleanup task.
  • QUEUED: The schedule is waiting for the Schedule Cleanup task to finish cleaning up other schedules.
  • FAILED: The clean up process failed. This can occur due to an unexpected exception, for example. After the issue causing the exception is resolved, the status can be reset to READY to retry the schedule cleanup.
  • ON HOLD: The cleanup process has been manually placed on hold. The cleanup process will not take place until the status is reset to READY.
