Configuring pay type codes

Work types must be created for each pay type code required by CMS.

  1. Configure the Employee Work Types maintenance form to display it in the WFM application menu. This maintenance form is hidden by default.
  2. Open the Employee Work Type maintenance form.
  3. Click Create New Entry.
  4. Specify this information:
    Work Type
    The pay type description defined by CMS.
    Description
    A description of the work type.
    Full time?
    Leave the check box disabled.
    Sort Order
    The sort order for the work type.
    Pay Type Code
    The pay type code defined by CMS.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Add additional work types for any other pay type codes required by CMS.
