Displaying the last clock on the homepage

By default, users must navigate to their timesheet or the View Clock Transaction section on the Clock Status widget to see the details of their last clock. For convenience, you can display the details of the employee's last clock directly on the homepage within the Clock Status widget.

When enabled, the date of the last clock transaction, clock time, type of clock, and any associated clock data are displayed, for example:

Last clock: Fri, Sep 8 10:45 AM – JOB CLEANER

There is no limit to how far back the last clock can be. If the employee does not have any clock transactions, the last clock information is not displayed.

To determine the latest clock transaction, both pending and applied clocks are considered. Clocks added directly to the timesheet are also considered.

Note: In some situations, the last clock may not be accurate if the last clock is pending and ends up being rejected later.

The label, date, and day of the week can be localized. The configuration of the current user's locale determines whether a 12-hour (HH:mm AM/PM) or 24-hour (HH:mm) clock is displayed. For example, if the System 24 Hour Time check box is disabled for the ENGLISH locale, a 12-hour clock is displayed when viewed by users in the ENGLISH locale.

See "Configuring key system settings in the Configure Locale page" in the Infor Workforce Management Internationalization Guide.

To view the last clock information on the homepage, users require View or Edit permission to the FIELD_CLOCKSTATUS_LASTCLOCK element, which is found on the MOB_HOME_CLOCKS maintenance form. To display the label, you must also grant users View or Edit permission to the FIELD_CLOCKSTATUS_LASTCLOCK_LABEL element. For labor metric clocks, you can optionally display the element description by granting users View or Edit permission to the FIELD_CLOCKSTATUS_LASTCLOCK_DESC element.
