Employees and Locations

Employees must be associated with the location where they are scheduled to work. (This location is considered their home location.) The employee home location is assigned when the employee is created in the application. The home location must be tied to an LFSO location.

Employees cannot be assigned to a shift either manually or by the Optimizer, unless they are associated to with the related location of the shift. For example, Employee A cannot be scheduled to work a Cashier shift at the downtown store if the employee is not associated with the downtown store location through team assignment mapping.
