Using Administration Console to connect to your clock

  1. Launch Admin Console on your operating system.
  2. Select Connect > Connect to a new server.
You can also connect to an existing server that you have previously saved.
  3. Specify the clock’s IP address in the Server field in this format with the default port value of 1500:
    <Clock IP address>:1500

The Admin Console may take some time to connect.

  4. You can also select from these options:
    • Secured Connection: Select this check box if you have configured an SSL connection for the Admin Console connection to your clock. For more information on how to configure this, see Configuring an SSL connection for Admin Console.
    • Save Connection: Select this check box to save the connection information on this dialog for a future connection to your clock using Admin Console.
  5. Click OK.
Only one Admin Console should be connected to one clock at a time.
  6. Specify the user ID and password for your clock.
If you don't know the credentials for the clock, you may need to ask your administrator.
These are the default credentials for Infor 9000 clocks:
    • User ID: consoleadmin
    • Password: !nf0rT!m8
Note: For security reasons, we recommend changing the default user and password for the clocks in your deployment.

See Changing the Admin Console user ID, password, and session timeout for the clock.

  7. Click OK to connect to your clock.
  8. After you are connected, you can navigate the settings in Admin Console using the various tabs on the left.
Note: The default session timeout is 5 minutes. You will be required to log in again if your Admin Console session expires.

See Changing the Admin Console user ID, password, and session timeout for the clock.
