Patient alerts
Patient alerts indicate to the charge nurse if a patient has special needs or if staff
must take special precautions when treating a patient. Patient alerts are linked with specific
interventions to help with decision making when establishing nurse-patient
assignments.
Existing patient alerts can only be deleted if they are not linked to any interventions.
