Adding a role to the Patient Assignment screen

A role can be added to the Patient Assignment screen through a Job or through an Activity that was defined in Scheduling.

Both a job and an activity can be added to a patient assignment screen. If this is done, Clinical Science searches for employees who meet both criteria.

  1. Select Clinical Science > Setup > Assignment > Role List.
  2. For Role Name, specify the name of the role that you want to assign.
  3. To assign the role through a job, perform these steps.
    1. In the Role Team Job portion of the screen click the + icon.
    2. Select the team that the role should be associated with. With the correct team selected, click Submit.
    3. Select the job to associate with the Team. Only jobs that have been configured to be used with the specified team are available to select.
    4. Click Save.
  4. To assign the role through an activity, perform these steps.
    1. In the Role Activity portion of the screen click the + icon.
    2. Select the activity that the role should be associated with.
    3. Click Save.
  5. To add a role to both a job and an activity on the patient assignment screen, perform steps 3 and 4.
