Generating LFSO schedules manually

You can manually generate a week-long schedule for locations that have one or more Auto-Assignment groups.

  1. Select Scheduling > Schedule Optimization > Schedule > Auto Assignment.
  2. Select Auto-assignment Groups to select individual Auto-Assignment groups to generate the schedule. Or, select Auto-assignment Schedule Profile to select a schedule profile.
  3. Follow these steps if you selected Auto-Assignment Groups:
    1. Specify this information:
      Name
Specify a name for the schedule.
      Location(s)
Select the location or locations that you are scheduling.
Note: When scheduling more than one location, the locations must have the same Schedule Requirement Interval configured in their location setup.
      Start Date
Specify the start date for the schedule.
    2. In the Staffing Requirements section, select how Auto-Assignment generates the staffing requirements for the location or locations:
Load requirements minimum from location info
Select this option to create a schedule based on the minimum staffing levels that are defined for the locations.
      Calculate requirements from the forecast
Select this option to have Auto-Assignment generate staffing requirements from the forecast. This option uses the forecast and productivity standards in conjunction with the minimums to create the schedule.
      Load existing requirements
Select this option to create a schedule based on the locations' existing interval requirements. Before using this option, you must generate a workload for the locations.
    3. Select the Auto-Assignment groups that you want to use to make the schedule from the Group(s) field, and then click Add.
    4. If you have selected more than one Auto-Assignment group, then click and drag the groups to set the Priority order. The group with the Priority value of 1 selects employees first based on the group's employee filters, followed by other groups in ascending order.
  4. If you selected Auto-assignment Schedule Profile, then specify this information:
    Auto-assignment Schedule Profile
Select the schedule profile you are using to generate the schedule.
    Name

  5. Click Go and then click OK to confirm.

The Auto-Assignment feature sends you a workmail notification when the Auto-Assignment process is complete. The workmail includes a link to view each schedule that was generated by the process.
