Using Form Studio

Form Studio is a collection of web-based tools in the WFM application that are used to create custom actions, workflows and forms to enhance the WFM application to conform to your specific business processes. You can use Form Studio and custom scripting to develop custom actions which can then be combined and assembled into a workflow. Form Studio is also used to create custom forms to allow users to interact with the workflow. For example, you can create a form that enables employees to submit suggestions or submit a time off request. Form Studio contains a library of fields that you can use to lay out WFM forms and specify property values for each field within the form.

Forms and workflows can be created in any browser supported by the desktop version of the WFM application. After forms are created, they are also visible and useable in Mobility under My Forms.

The names and descriptions of legacy forms and workflows for the applet-based Form Builder and Workflow Editor are also visible in the new Form Studio. However, the fields of the form are not visible in Form Studio.

Note: No tool is available for the previous Form Builder applet forms to be converted to the new Form Studio forms. You must recreate these forms manually in Form Studio as new forms. These new forms can then be edited and modified as required.
