Importing Files into WFM using PGP Encryption

To import files using PGP encryption, WFM uses the master keystore file that was set up during installation. See Setting Up the Master Keystore File for WFM in the Infor Workforce Management Installation and Configuration Guide.

The following section outlines the steps required to encrypt and import a file into WFM. PGP key changes do not require application server and job scheduler machine restart and can be done anytime.

To encrypt and import a file into WFM:

  1. Generate the PGP key in the WFM application and export the key. See Encrypting a File with the WFM PGP Key.
  2. Use the PGP key generated in WFM to encrypt the files (using a supported program) that will be imported into WFM. See Setting Up the Master Keystore File for WFM in the Infor Workforce Management Installation and Configuration Guide
  3. Set up an import task in WFM to import the PGP encrypted files. See Importing an Encrypted File into WFM.
