Skill types and skills

System administrators can set up skills and link these skills to jobs which employees are qualified to work. Creating skills requires these two steps:

  1. Use the Skill Type Detail page to define skill types that categorize the skills.
  2. Use the Skills Detail page to define the required skills.

The required field that is labeled Skill type ID can only have one entry. That is, only one skill type can be associated with a skill.
