Set security permissions

Before you can use the Payroll Close Wizard and related functions, set security permissions to give specific user groups access to these maintenance forms:

  • Payroll Close Wizard
  • Re-Export Payroll
  • Reset Work Export Type Wizard

To set security permissions for these maintenance forms:

  1. Select Maintenance > System Administration > Maintenance Forms.
  2. Search for Payroll Close Wizard, Re-Export Payroll, or Reset Work Export Type Wizard depending on the maintenance form you want to enable.
  3. Click Find.
  4. Click Edit next to the desired maintenance form.
  5. In the Maintenance Form Groups section, select the user groups for which you want to grant access to the maintenance form using the Security Group lookup.
  6. Select the type of permissions for each user group from the Permissions drop-down list:
    • Edit: Allows users (all users in the security group) to view and edit maintenance forms. Any Create New Entry links or Delete check boxes on forms or pages are functional.
    • View: Allows users to view maintenance forms only. Any Create New Entry links or Delete check boxes are hidden.
    • None: Prevents users from accessing maintenance forms. They are not displayed in the Header, Table of Contents, or Folder Tree.
  7. Click Save.
