Skills in MR and OTS

Skills can be added to rows in a Master Rotation or One-time Schedule. Adding skills creates secondary qualifications required for employees to be assigned to the shifts in the row. Similar to other modules in MVS, employees must meet or exceed the required proficiency levels for all mandatory skills to be assigned to a row. A warning is displayed when assigning an employee to a row who does not posses non-mandatory skills required by that row, but the assignment can still be completed if required.

The Skills column in the Schedule table lists the set of skills attached to each row in a comma-separated list. The Skills column can be enabled in Config mode using the same method as the Labor Metric columns.

Skills can be added to row versions in OTS templates or in MRs that have been activated. This allows the scheduler to add skills to rows in a rotation with a limited effective date range. Skills on each version of a row can be viewed using the View tab in the Row Versions pop-up.

See "Skills in Master Rotations and One-time Schedules" in the Infor Workforce Management Multiview Scheduler User Guide.
