Staff Scheduler (Manpower Scheduler)

From Manpower Scheduler, flexible availability can be specified. For example, a part-time employee is available to work every Monday from 3:00PM to 11:00 PM, or an employee is not available to work from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM for the next 20 weeks.

From Manpower Scheduler, a date range was added to the Selection Handler window so that users can specify start and end dates for an update rather than having to repeat the same edit multiple times.

From Manpower Scheduler, employees are shown as partially assigned by default, based on their shift start/end times.

From the Manpower Scheduler module, DBLookups are no longer centered at the bottom of the screen. To avoid the user from having to reposition the pop-up window each time the pop-up is displayed, DBLookups are now centered in the middle of the screen.

From the Manpower Scheduler module, the Selection Handler pop-up window remains persistent and holds data from the user’s last selection (similar to the behavior of the Daily Timesheet). For example, if the user clicks Manpower Scheduler Selection, enters the selection criteria, and then exits the screen and clicks Manpower Scheduler Selection again, the user’s data is still displayed.

From the Manpower Scheduler module, when the user displays a template or a group of templates, the number of jobs that are filled and those that are still open is shown at the top of the screen.

From the Manpower Scheduler module, a new panel was added to the Manpower Template Groups Detail screen - Manpower Template Selection Criteria. The fields in this panel are the selection criteria fields such as Included Team, Excluded Team, Included Shift Pattern, Excluded Shift Pattern, etc. Once this panel is completed for a group template, when a user retrieves the template, the Start Date, End Date, and the Assigned Criteria with which the template was created are automatically populated. This saves the user time from inserting selection criteria.

From Manpower Scheduler, users can view the running total of man-hours assigned to employees.

For example, stores are allotted a specific number of hours for which they should schedule Coordinators, Full-Time Associates, and Part-Time Associates to work. This requires the ability to calculate easily the amount of time used when creating and modifying their schedules.
