Claiming shifts in smartphone view

Employees can use these steps to claim billboard shifts using a smartphone.

  1. From the application menu, select My Schedule Hub.
  2. Tap the Billboard tab.
    The Billboard tab is opened to today's date and the calendar is displayed. The calendar highlights dates in color that are relevant for claiming billboard shifts. These types of dates are highlighted:
    • Scheduled: Indicates you are scheduled to one or more shifts on this date.
    • Available Shifts: Indicates that there are available billboard shifts that you can claim on this date.
    • Both: Indicates that, on this date, you have scheduled shifts and there are available billboard shifts you can claim.
  3. Select a date from the calendar.
    A list of available billboard shifts is displayed. A warning icon is displayed for shifts that would cause a schedule compliance warning if claimed. Shifts are not displayed as available if they would cause a schedule compliance error if claimed. Shifts are also not displayed if they do not pass any of the basic shift claim validations.
  4. Tap a shift.
    The details of the selected shift are displayed. This includes details for any schedule compliance warnings that would be caused by adding the shift to your schedule.
  5. Tap Claim Shift.
    The claim request starts the workflow process. A message is displayed to notify you of the status of your claim request.
  6. Tap OK.
When the claim request is accepted, the shift is added to the employee's schedule.
