Claiming billboard shifts in the Self Service Portal

Employees can claim available billboard shifts from the Billboard tab in the Schedule Hub page of the Self Service Portal. In the Billboard tab, the Available Shifts section lists the shifts that the employee can claim from the billboard on the date that is currently open. A warning icon is displayed for any shifts that would cause schedule compliance warnings if the shift was added to the schedule. Shifts that would cause schedule compliance errors are not displayed.

The My Scheduled Events section displays the employee's currently assigned shifts and time off on the currently open date. Users can tap on a shift in this section to view the shift details.

The Billboard tab is displayed in desktop view when accessed on a desktop or tablet. Desktop view displays the user's schedule in a calendar and the available shifts for the selected date. The Billboard tab is displayed in smartphone view when accessed on a smartphone or in a small browser window. Smartphone view only displays the employee's available shifts and scheduled events. The earliest date with available billboard shifts is selected when the Billboard tab is opened in smartphone view, and employees can select other dates as required.
