Determining when to present the survey

The Survey Trigger Conditions form determines the run-time scenarios for which this survey is triggered. For example, you can trigger the survey for specific clock transaction types, clock presets, or labor metric clocks. You can create as many survey triggers as required.

Note: Clock presets are not supported in ETM.

To create triggers for a survey:

  1. Select Maintenance > Surveys > Survey Setup.
  2. Click Edit next to the survey to update.
  3. In the Survey Trigger Conditions section, click the new row icon to add a trigger condition.
  4. Specify this information:
    Survey Condition
    Select a survey condition from the lookup. These parameters are supported:
    • ClockTranType: Clock transaction type
    • ClockTranAsOn: Clock transaction type ON
    • TimeCode: Time code
    • Job: Job
    • Docket: Docket
    • Department: Department
    • Project: Project
    • ClockPreset: Clock preset
    • EmpTime: Employee time
    • EmpTimeZone: Employee time zone
    Survey Condition Operator
    Select an operator for the survey condition from the lookup. Supported operators are EQ (equals), NE (not equals), IN (in), and NOTIN (not in).
    Survey Trigger Condition Value
    Specify the value for the survey condition. When using the IN or NOTIN operators, specify a list of values separated by commas. For example, ON, OFF.
  5. Optionally, repeat the previous two steps to add more trigger conditions.
  6. Click Save at the bottom of the Survey Trigger Conditions form.
