Hiding the Add to External Calendar link

As a system administrator, you can hide the Add to External Calendar link for users in specific security groups.

  1. Tap Home on the application menu.
  2. Tap the Settings button at the bottom of the application menu to enter config mode.
  3. Tap the configuration icon second from the right at the top of the page.
  4. In the External Calendar section, tap the security icon beside the second Add to External Calendar option.
    The Security Configuration window is displayed for the PORTAL_HOME_SCHEDULE_EMPLOYEE_CALENDAR_LINK_TEXT element.
  5. For each security group, select Deny from the Permission Flag drop-down to hide the link or select Act to show the link.
    Note: The link is available for users in security groups that do not have a permission flag specified.
  6. Tap Save and close the window.
  7. Tap the Settings button at the bottom of the application menu to leave config mode.
  8. Reload the page for the changes to take effect.
